Admirers of fine arts can visit several of our galleries which house numerous exhibitions of national and foreign artists, traditional crafts and various souvenirs.
Magistrat Gallery
Magistrat Gallery has its exhibition rooms on the first floor of the Town Hall, at Mestni trg 1, in the center of Ptuj. It has been operating since 1994Magistrat Gallery in the Town Hall, where the seat of Ptuj Municipality – central public institution of local community - is situated, is primarily intended for exhibitors coming from Ptuj and its surroundings or those that have any other connection to Ptuj, as well as for installations of documentary exhibitions on Ptuj Municipality projects.
Exhibition activity started at the Town Hall in 1994. First steps were made on the initiative of the town administration at that time because of the needs expressed many times by artists of Ptuj to have an exhibition space in the town.
Exhibition activity is of great importance also for promotion of Ptuj municipality and exchanges with other towns in the field of such cultural creativity with the purpose of spreading the awareness about the need for a dialogue through art events. The priority is given to towns that are members of the Slovenian Association of Historic Towns together with Ptuj as well as Ptuj's twin European partner towns.
Opening hours:
- Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
- Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
and
- Fridays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Gallery is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

The Mihelič Gallery
The museum retains a large number of his drawings and graphics displayed in the graphics cabinet of France Mihelič. There is a portrait, in memory of the artist, on the ground floor of the tower and a clay sculpture of the artist was made by Tine Kos in 1942.Opening times: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm Closed on Mondays and bank holidays

The Florijan Gallery

The Paleta Gallery
The Palet gallery is a sales gallery. Artists Karmen Menoni and Veronika Rakuš exhibit their work there.Opening times: Friday, 3pm - 6pm Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 12pm and 3pm - 6pm
